Our next nonprofit that we want to share with you is WeForest, a multinational organization that strives to replant 25,000 hectares of forest by planting millions of trees. The ideals of WeForest is rooted in the belief in sustainable living, hoping to see a world where we manage our resources in a way that is beneficial to humanity and the environment.
The reason that WeForest is so dedicated towards their goal is because they acknowledge they are fighting against climate change. In the ‘Why and How’ section of their website, they talk about how in order to have a chance at keeping the world under the 2-degree Celsius mark, we need to restore an area that is roughly the same size as India. The people leading this charge are the everyday people in the countries where they operate. WeForest is helping to improve the world on many fronts.

As we move forward with our own project, we are looking around the world at organization like WeForest to see how we can make a difference. Much how they are confronting many world issues, we need to remind ourselves to make a difference when and wherever we have the opportunity.
