Worrisome Weather

Climate change causes a number of impacts around the world every day, whether or not some people choose to believe or not. These impacts range from animal and plant extinctions to health concerns, to extreme weather. These impacts are deadly and influential in our lives every day.

This week we will look at how the weather is and will become impacted more because of climate change. We have seen in recent years more extreme weather patterns occurring across the globe as average temperatures continue to increase. Heatwaves, hurricanes, thunderstorms, droughts, and more have all been becoming more severe and impactful as our climates continue to evolve based on human behaviors. With these changes, humans will see more extreme storms, longer and more influential droughts, deadly hurricanes and cyclones, and even unusual flooding. These effects are caused by higher temperatures which increase the amount of water that is being evaporated. As more water is evaporated, more storms are able to form and expand cause detrimental damages. Some studies account for human actions to alter 70% of storms making them more severe and deadly.

Human actions on climate can not be ignored as the repercussions will be deadly if the change is not made now.
