This week we are starting our new series Pollination Population. Through this series, we will examine the

impacts of key animals and insects and how we can support these pollinators. Each week we will begin to look at one category of pollinators and explain how they are beneficial, what is happening to their populations, and how you can help

support these pollinators and their support to the environment. We have incorporated pollinator gardens into our orchard to support cross-pollination and a healthy orchard and environment. We are pursuing different ways to help these pollinators in different ways like using different chemicals,

planting different flowers, growing different varieties, and even building structures for them near the orchard. We will be examining bees, butterflies, bats, and hummingbirds.
